Isla had her 5th MRI on Thursday the 10th of October at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. As always, this is done under a general anaesthetic and took the better part of a day. This was the first occasion where Isla had a general anaesthetic and both of us weren’t there with her. Garreth had to work that day, so I took Isla on my own. Walking out of MRI all by myself did feel a little weird, but it wont be the last time that one of us has to take her in for a GA by ourselves. Isla recovered from the GA fine and Garreth came to meet us in recovery after work before we were discharged.
The results of the MRI were good. The tumour is still contained to her eye and her brain is still clear.
